Eve Fisher is the independent candidate for the Western Victoria Region upper house. Eve and her husband Andrew Pollard split their time between their home in Jan Juc and their bush block in the Otways near Colac.

Eve is a small business owner and operator, teacher and journalist, who has worked in the media for more than 25 years. This includes 10 years at Fairfax for The Age and Sydney Morning Herald and more than a decade with News Limited.

She is also an English and journalism teacher with experience at both high school and university level, as well as a former Surf Coast Shire councillor – where she was briefly acting Mayor – and former member of Deakin University Masters of Politics and Policy Advisory Board.

Eve is the owner of Boutique Property Management (formerly Flair) and NEAT Container Conversions. She also owned and operated cleaning company NEAT Services Co.

Andrew is a philosopher, psychologist and ideas generator who uses his neurodivergence to provide unique viewpoints never usually considered.
