Harvard researchers have revealed they have created an organic battery that could reduce the cost of storing solar and wind energy from around $700 per kilowatt hour to $27. The researchers themselves have been quoted as saying this could be the clean energy “game-changer”.
Here are a few links that have appeared in the past few days.

Let’s hear it for the low cost battery!
We have been “off grid” now for 22 years and we use standard lead acid batteries.
Even though they are expensive, they are cheaper than being on the grid which is now a mechanism for generating profits for investors rather than an affordable and reliable resource for the wider population.
In all those years we have never had a blackout and never had an electricity bill!
That’s what I like to hear. If the power companies don’t be careful they are going to go the way of kodak.
