Japanese guest at Tarndwarncoort observed that there is very few solar panels in Australia.
He was telling me home owners in Japan can buy/install solar panels (for electricity generation) with a long term loan from the local/national government, so long as the home owner stumps up 30% of costs.
Apparently its very affordable for the average Tanaka to go solar.
Yeah Japan is taking solar up in a huge way. Becoming a world leader. The country have something like 9gw (we have 2).
